Welcome to Clootwijck Stables, located on Clootwijck Estate, in the middle of the nature area of the Dutch County of "Heusden and Altena".

The history of the area is marked by heroic stories of noblemen, knights and victorious battles. Connected to these historical events are horses, the noble animal.

Nowadays an international company for breeding and sales of Shetland ponies, Haflinger as well as Friesian horses. Young ponies and horses are given extra care in growing up before being able to go to their new owner. Wide fields in an agricultural surrounding provide the right environment for the foals to grow up into healthy and strong adult ponies and horses. The ponies and horses learn to be friendly to humans and some of them learn to pull carriages.
